The Kardashian family has been on top of the spotlight charts for a few months now. If we didn’t know any better we would say they love attention. They have their own TV show Keeping up with the Kardashians, they have got beauty shops, spas hang around only rich people, so basically they are rich. To them it can never be enough so they branched their shows to Khloe and Lamar, Kim and Courtney hit Vegas.

But Kim has taken her love for spotlight a little too far. We can conclude that she is desperate for attention. She is getting old after all.

After her divorce to Kris a few months ago, selling the gifts to buy Rolexes for her family, promoting fake slim pills to the media, having a sex tape with singer Ray Jay it is safe to say Kim is beginning to fall out.

Ray Jay ruthlessly exposed her ill mannered acts in his book Tell-All where he told the whole world that Kim is a cheating, gold digging ho. This cannot be denied since she cheated on her first husband with Ray Jay and divorced Kris after a 10 million dollar wedding in just 72 days.

 Recently Kim was flour bombed by a woman who is obviously angry with all her actions. I say it served her right. Someone needs to teach that girl a lesson. She is getting in way over her head in this attention seeking spree. If she came to Africa I am positive it wouldn’t be flour that was thrown in her face, it would be fire, or worse.

African Movie Storm

The Nigerian movie industry has been growing and improving dramatically over the years. The industry has grown so big that they even call themselves Nollywood. Their recent merger with Ghana movie industry has made “African movies” as commonly known by people take on a whole new level of drama.

But none of those actors and actresses has shown the talent that just one guy has shown. Majid Michel. The 30 year old Ghanaian born actor has shown Africa talent beyond talent. In 2009, 2011 and 2012 he received a nomination for best Actor in  lead role in the African Movie Academy awards.  And I say he deserved it.

The movie actor starred in movies like Bed of Roses, 4 Play Reloaded and in less than 5 years in the industry he has already made it big like Ramsey Noah, Desmond Eliot, Emeka Ike and Jim Iyke all of which are prominent actors in Nollywood who have been in the industry for over 10 years.

 This guy is like the African version of Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks and even Will Smith. Talent like this will take Africa to a whole new level in terms of educating and entertaining. It’s amazing how he is able, unlike any other actor in North Africa, to blend in any movie situation whether romantic, comedy or action. He can take upon the role of the hero or villain flawlessly.

The media had been going haywire over Beyonce and Jay-Z's new baby Blue Ivy Carter. Jay in preparation for the baby's arrival paid $3 000 000 for the whole maternity wing in Lenox Hill hospital for "privacy" this was a noble act by Mr Carter but evryone else who had intensions of giving birth in that hospital on that day was enraged.

Within less than 12 hours into the babies birth she was already flooding the media. Who can blame her,her whole family loves the spotlight.

SHE LOVES THE WAY IT HURTS

When news that Chris Brown and Rihanna were now collaborating in two new songs broke out, it was extremely controversial. There was a heavy outcry by the media and the fans. People were enraged.

After Chris had mercilessly assaulted Rih Rih in 2009 and he even threatened to kill her. Honestly if we didn’t know Rihanna any better we would say she was totally out of her mind to want to collaborate with him in anything. Her fans could swear that Rihanna wouldn’t want to be caught dead even in the studio with Chris.

But the web of love is confusing circle. Who are we to judge?

Rihanna’s fans can’t be enraged by this collabo seriously. Rihhana said and I quote “They can say whatever, they can do whatever, I’ma do whatever. No pain is forever… YUP! YOU KNOW THIS. So her union with abusive ex, should not come as a surprise to anyone.

ANOTHER GONE TOO SOON?

Legendary musician Andy Brown died of pneumonia a day after his birthday on March 16 2012.

The 50 year old musician had just arrived from his tour in Switzerland and was admitted to Parirenyatwa hospital where he died at 5.45pm on Friday. And his former wife Chiwoniso Maraire confirmed that he had died to pneumonia.

Where the wife was when the ex wife was confirming her husband’s death is anyone’s guess

He survived by his wife Nadine and 10 children. Yes TEN!!! And the government is taking a peculiar interest in his death. Jonathan Moyo declared Andy’s death a national tragedy and the government wanted to declare him a national hero.

Brown was well known for his songs like Tichango shaina, Mapurisa among others.

I have made an interesting observation that popular icons are robbed of their will to live at the age of 50, these are inclusive of people like Michael Jackson, Marvin Gay, Bob Marley and Brian Jones only, to mention a few. Meaningful music has become largely at risk of extinction as legends are dying with the real talent. All we have left is the young hip hop an r n b artists who boast about naked women, sex, fame, expensive cars, all which bring no significance and value to life.
